Origami is the traditional Japanese art of folding paper into a variety of decorative forms.  Our Origami Bag uses the same technique – with 3 folds a rectangle is turned into a cute purse or tote bag!  This is a great project for beginners, either stockinette or garter stitch.  Once you learn the technique you’ll love making these for gifts – fast, easy, and super cute!

The Origami Bag is made from our gorgeous Venice yarn.  It has a touch of glitter just for fun.  The kit includes one handle (as shown on the sample).

Kits contains 1 (Small) or 2 (Large) skeins of Venice yarn, 1 handle, and a printed pattern.

Please Note

Due to the nature of hand dyeing and the technique we use, each skein is unique.  We dye in small batches, so there are no dye lots.  The color, distribution, and saturation will vary from skein to skein.  If working on a multi-skein project we recommend alternating skeins to avoid visual color differences, pooling, etc.  Keep in mind the actual colors may differ based on the color settings of your screen as well (ie blue light filters).
