Miss Grace Shawl - Worsted Weight
SKEINO’s Miss Grace Worsted Weight Shawl is knit on US-10 needles in a unique style called tapestry knitting. Using short rows, you form full and half triangles to create the wave pattern. This kit contains one base color and two contrast colors. You will need a 32” US-10 needle for the body and a 60” US-10 needle for finishing the edge. Both are available in our accessories section.
You’ll love knitting with our 100% Fine Merino yarn, imported from Italy and hand-painted by Skeino. The yarn has great drape and is amazingly soft. The best part… it’s machine washable! All color combinations are carefully selected to create a unique look for this gorgeous shawl. Each Miss Grace colorway is dedicated to a real person, a real-life Miss Grace. This kit is best suited to an intermediate or advanced knitter.
PLEASE NOTE: While the technique to knit the Miss Grace worsted weight is the same as previous versions, the size, yardage, number of stitches, number of rows, etc. differ from the original fingering weight shawl. As this shawl is meant to be unique to each knitter, there are no “color charts” available. Included on Page 4 of the pattern are the row by row instructions.
