Fibonacci's Great Grandmother's Shawl
We are so excited to introduce Tanja Lüscher from Knitted in Switzerland Designs!
Fibonacci’s Great Grandmother is a crescent-shaped shawl in two colors that are arranged in stripes following the Fibonacci sequence. The garter stitch body lets the beautiful border, Great Grandmother Edging from one of Barbara Walker’s treasuries, shine. It’s perfect for snuggling into and feeling hugged by your (great) grandmother whenever you need to feel their love.
We here at Skeino love mixing yarn weights, so we modified this gorgeous pattern to use our Bianca lace weight in a semisolid to let the lacework shine, and our Tencel-Merino light fingering weight in a variegated colorway to add another level of beautiful design. We know you will love this shawl as much as we do.
We have the US-2 47" circular needles for this project in stock too. View them here!
