Charmingly Mismatched
When our daughter was younger, one of her favorite stores was Little Miss Matched. Strange color combinations that somehow all worked together, socks sold in odd numbers with matching colors but mismatched patterns – it was such a cute shop with a cute idea. So when I was organizing all the mini 12-yarn skeins an idea came to me. A Charmingly Mismatched set using two very different variegated skeins paired with a solid to unite them.
The 12-yarns in each mini skein are all different textures and fibers. Each one takes the dye differently, resulting in a very unique looking skein. Our Charmingly Mismatched set includes a beanie and mitts. The Beanie starts as a square knit on the bias and seamed to form diagonal stripes; then the top is closed, and a twisted ribbed band is added. The mitts are also knit flat and seamed. This is a great kit for a beginner who is looking to expand their skills!
Kits contains 2 variegated skeins, 1 solid skein, and a printed pattern

Please Note |
Due to the nature of hand dyeing and the technique we use, each skein is unique. We dye in small batches, so there are no dye lots. The color, distribution, and saturation will vary from skein to skein. If working on a multi-skein project we recommend alternating skeins to avoid visual color differences, pooling, etc. Keep in mind the actual colors may differ based on the color settings of your screen as well (ie blue light filters). |
