Vintage Scarf Pattern
Maybe it’s the tilting lace pattern or maybe it’s the long fringe, whatever it may be there is something about this scarf that reminds me of the vintage handknit scarves you find in second-hand shops. The simplicity of the garter stitch lace works well for men or women.
The scarf is knitted with two skeins of our gorgeous Shimmer yarn. The silk in the yarn gives just a hint of shine. The lace pattern is a combination of garter stitch, yarn overs, and decreases to give it the tilting eyelets. Fringe is optional. The pattern is both written and charted.

Please Note |
Due to the nature of hand dyeing and the technique we use, each skein is unique. We dye in small batches, so there are no dye lots. The color, distribution, and saturation will vary from skein to skein. If working on a multi-skein project we recommend alternating skeins to avoid visual color differences, pooling, etc. Keep in mind the actual colors may differ based on the color settings of your screen as well (ie blue light filters). |
