Mariposa Hat & Cowl Pattern
Super cute and super easy, two of our favorite things. This project transforms from a cowl into a hat with a simple flip! Our gorgeous silk/merino Shimmer yarn is used to create a closed ended tube, with a large pom pom on one end and a loop on the other to hold the cowl in place. This is an easy project for a newish knitter. You will use double point needles to start and end the tube, and circular needles for the body. Easy increases and decreases are used as well.

Please Note |
Due to the nature of hand dyeing and the technique we use, each skein is unique. We dye in small batches, so there are no dye lots. The color, distribution, and saturation will vary from skein to skein. If working on a multi-skein project we recommend alternating skeins to avoid visual color differences, pooling, etc. Keep in mind the actual colors may differ based on the color settings of your screen as well (ie blue light filters). |
