Nalu Blanket
In Hawaiian “Nalu” most commonly refers to the waves of the ocean. But it also means to meditate, ponder, and contemplate. The Nalu blanket represents this tranquility, created by the repetitive flow of waves.
A feather & fan stitch pattern paired with three different weights of yarn gives a contemporary look to a traditional pattern. Each yarn is worked for two rows, with the other yarns carried up the side. A single crochet around the edge hides the carried yarns. The mix of yarn weights makes this blanket perfect for spring and summer. By the end of the pattern, you will be an expert in feather & fan!
Each kit includes 5 skeins (880 Yards of Lace Weight, 540 Yards of DK Weight and 360 Yards of Worsted)

Please Note |
Due to the nature of hand dyeing and the technique we use, each skein is unique. We dye in small batches, so there are no dye lots. The color, distribution, and saturation will vary from skein to skein. If working on a multi-skein project we recommend alternating skeins to avoid visual color differences, pooling, etc. Keep in mind the actual colors may differ based on the color settings of your screen as well (ie blue light filters). |
