Flame Cabbie Hat
My go-to hat forever is one I knit probably 10 years ago. It was slouchy, soft, easy to wear, had a structured brim, and I wore it all the time. I wanted to design something that you would fall in love with too. That perfect simple hat that is easy to make and even easier to wear.
Our new Cabbie Hat is the perfect blend of slightly slouchy and slightly structured. There is no stiffener in the brim, so it is easy to shape to flatter any face shape. The perfect amount of slouch means you can even tuck your hair into for a fast fix on a bad hair day!
Knitted from our bulky weight Flame yarn, the thick & thin style gives a touch of bohemian flair to the hat.
As a bonus, we’ve included a simple ribbed beanie pattern with a matching pompom too. One skein will make both hats!

Please Note |
Due to the nature of hand dyeing and the technique we use, each skein is unique. We dye in small batches, so there are no dye lots. The color, distribution, and saturation will vary from skein to skein. If working on a multi-skein project we recommend alternating skeins to avoid visual color differences, pooling, etc. Keep in mind the actual colors may differ based on the color settings of your screen as well (ie blue light filters). |
